Pastor Rodney McCorkle is the third son born to Mrs. Josephine Moore and Mr. Johnny McCorkle; and he is the stepson of Mr. Turner Moore. Pastor McCorkle is the first generation to carry the gift of preaching in the McCorkle family. He is the father of two children: Kristen and Rodney, Jr.

Pastor McCorkle, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, has degrees and training from the following institutions: Belmont Abbey College, located in Belmont, North Carolina, earning a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. Pastor McCorkle received his Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Theological Seminary, in Lynchburg, VA. Presently, Pastor McCorkle is matriculating at Apex School of Theology, in Apex, NC, where he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Preaching and Church Leadership. Pastor McCorkle is also the site coordinator and a professor at the extension campus of Apex School of Theology, located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Pastor McCorkle was licensed to preach the Gospel, in 1990, at the age of 19. He was ordained by the Gaston County Missionary Baptist Association on January 26, 1992. Pastor McCorkle has served in pastoral ministry for a total of 22 years. He is presently the pastor of the Manning Baptist Church, in Dillon, SC. Pastor McCorkle has also served churches in Mount Holly, North Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina, and Loris, South Carolina.

Pastor McCorkle has also been very active in many social and community programs. In 2008, he served as a Field Organizer for the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign.

Many lives have been blessed and souls saved as God uses Pastor McCorkle to minister the Word of the Lord with clarity and with conviction.
