Deidre Odom: Second Vice President

Deidre Cecelia Odom is the youngest of three children born to the late John Odom and Emma Odom of Darlington. She is a graduate of Mayo High School, Darlington and Francis Marion College, Florence.

Deidre is a member of the historic Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Darlington where the Rev. Dr. Cecil Bromell serves as pastor. There she serves on the Deaconess Ministry, Trustee Ministry, Finance Ministry, Beautification Ministry and Teacher for the Monday Night Youth Bible Study.

On the Pee Dee District Level, Deidre has served two terms as the Pee Dee District Young Woman's Auxiliary President. On the State Level, she has served as the President Elect of the State Baptist YWA and President of the State Baptist YWA from June 2000-June 2005. Deidre is also a faculty member of the South Carolina Congress of Christian Education teaching in the Youth Division.

She also serves on the Board of Directors for Darlington County Habitat for Humanity.

Deidre is employed at BCBS of SC, Florence office as a Team Lead.

Deidre is a member of the greatest sorority in the World…Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Her hobbies include travelling, reading and shopping.

Her motto is, "Always do your best and let God do the rest."
