Minister Helen Richardson, Registrar

Minister Helen G. Richardson is the daughter of Randolph and Frances Goodson, the oldest of four children. Helen was married to the late James Richardson and has one daughter.

Minister Richardson is 1980 graduate of Timmonsville High School and a 1993 Honor graduate of Limestone College with a BS degree in Business Administration. Minister Richardson received her Sunday School Teacher Certification in 2004 from the Pee Dee Baptist Association. She is currently attending Liberty University pursuing a Master’s in Christian Ministries.

She was licensed as a Minister at Antioch Baptist Church on December 9, 2018 by Rev. Angelo Alexander. She is a member of the Missionary, Sunday School, Saturday School and Pastor’s Aid ministries.

She accepted Christ at an early age while attending St. Mark Freewill Baptist Church in Lamar where she was as a choir member, usher, Sunday School Teacher and church secretary. She later became a member of Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Church Secretary, Christian Education Director, member of the Missionary Ministry, and YWA President. Minister Richardson also held many positions with the Pee Dee District YWA to include District President.

Currently she is also a member of the Registration Team for the SC Baptist Congress of Christian Education and the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.

She is employed as a licensed Property Manager, a member of Bowman’s Funeral Home staff and serves as a McLeod Hospice Volunteer.

Her motto is: If I can help somebody as I travel along the way, then my living here will not be in vain.
