Minister Carrie Muldrow, a Darlington native, is the daughter of the last Lewis and Lila Belle Flynn. She was married to the late George Alexander Muldrow. The couple was blessed with two children: Michelle Yvette and Timothy Alexander. now deceased. She has two grandchildren: Tierra Labelle and Terry Timothy; and one great-grandson: Christian Alexander.

She attended Darlington County Public Schools graduating from Mayo High School in 1959, received a certificate in religious studies from Berean Bible Institute of Brooklyn, New York (an extension of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Ill) as Valedictorian. Minister Muldrow gained certification as a Sunday school teacher in 2002 and superintendent in 2003 from the Pee Dee Baptist Association. Currently she is working on Level Two of the Pee Dee Baptist Association, Christian Education Department Ministers' Division Program after completing Level One in 2013.

She is the secretary for the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education, and former secretary for the Pee Dee Baptist Christian Education Department having served under Pastors Leonard L. Cain and Norman Gamble.

Minister Muldrow accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Darlington, SC at the early age of nine. She has been a member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church since February 25, 1996. As former Sunday School Superintendent and president of the Under Shepherd Support Ministry, she now serves as audio/video ministry chairperson, member of the Unified Choir and CD Choir, Sunday School teacher, and is a member of Vision 2005 Steering Committee.

Minister Muldrow retired from the banking industry in New York City after twenty-five years of service. She enjoys working on the City of Darlington Beautification Board and the Southeast Darlington Revitalization Committee.

Favorite scriptures: Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."
