Deacons
Danny W. Wiley is a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Florence, South Carolina, where he serves as Secretary for the Deacons' Ministry, Vice President for the Laymen's Ministry, Vice President for the Bus Ministry, Vice Treasurer for the Meals on Wheels Ministry, Adult Sunday School Teacher, and Treasurer for the Male Choir.
He is married to Renee B. Wiley and has five children (four daughters and one son); four grandchildren (two girls and two boys); and one great-grandson. Danny was born in Dodge City, KS, and graduated from Dodge City High School in 1966. He graduated from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS in 1970 with Bachelor of Science Degree, and received the MS degree from Florida Institute of Technology in 1982.
Danny served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1991, as a Transportation Officer, and retired as a Major. He worked at Florence Darlington Technical College as Diesel Programs Coordinator/Instructor and retired in 2011.
Danny loves the Lord and strives to live a life that is pleasing in his sight. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6: 33: "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all its righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you".
