Deacon Robert Hendriex, Parliamentarian

Mr. Robert Hendriex Jr., is a member Palmetto Missionary Baptist Church where he is currently serving as Deacon, Layman’s Department President, member of the senior and men’s choir, Advisor to the Youth Department, and serves on the Planning Committee for the South Carolina State Brotherhood.

He is married to Vermell Ophelia Hendriex and has one son (Michael), three daughters (Sharon, Bridgette, and Michele), five granddaughters (Anjinai, Lynnisha, Brianna, Myiesha, and Anissa), one great granddaughter (Kymora) and one great grandson (Kymari).

He graduated from Lincoln Memorial High School, Palmetto FL. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from LaSalle University and an additional Associate’s Degree in Hospitality and Food Services from Central Texas College.

He served in the United States Army, proudly retiring after twenty (20) years of service and served in the Vietnam War for three (3) years. Last but definitely not least, he’s a veteran member of American Legion Post 228 in Florence, SC, DAV Post Chapter 11, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 614, and member of VFW Post at Large.
