Laymen's Department
Mrs. Tara Moore is a resident of Bennettsville S.C. She is the daughter of the late Bobbie Simon and William Simon also of Bennettsville. She is married to Mark Moore and have four sons: Mark Moore, Jr (a deputy in Lexington County), Marquis Moore, Malik Moore (enlisted in the Air Force), and Montrell Moore. She also has two grandchildren, Morgan and Isaiah Moore.
She graduated from Marlboro High School in 1990 and attended Benedict College, Columbia Jr. College and Northeastern Technical College majoring in Elementary Education. She taught at Stevens Christian Academy for seven years. After the closing of the school, she has been employed with "For You Beauty" for fourteen years as the General Manager.
Mrs. Moore is also very active in the church. She is the President of the Shiloh Baptist Church Laymen's Department where she has been a member for over thirty years. She is member of the usher board, praise team, and the Outreach Ministry. She is also a Sunday School teacher.
She firmly believes in raising your children in the church and believes firmly in this verse: Philippians 4:13...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
