Usher's
Berrye, is a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church, Kingstree, S. C. under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Terry B. & Reverend Phyllis A. Law Sr. She is the Vice President of the Ushers’ Ministry at Siloam always ready and willing to serve. She also, serves as Church Treasurer, van driver, Trustee, Pastor’s Aide Ministry President and a member of other ministries.
Berrye worked for twenty-one (21) years as Employment Specialist and Service Coordinator at Williamsburg County Disability and Special Needs Board retiring in 2018, returning in 2019 part-time as Administrative Receptionist & Intake Worker serving persons with mental and physical disabilities. She thanks God for the opportunity to serve with dignity, respect and joyfulness.
She loves spending time with her sons, grands and great grands instilling little nuggets of love and respect for everyone. She has learned over the years not to allow others to take her God given joy.
Psalm 100 tells her to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and to serve the Lord with gladness” which she strives for daily.
