Usher's
Elizabeth was born in Darlington, SC, to the late Lessie Mills, Sr. and Easter McCall Mills. She is the youngest of ten siblings (five of whom are deceased). She graduated from St. John’s High School and continued her educational pursuits at Florence Darlington Technical College with a degree in Secretarial Science. Elizabeth is a retired SC Department of Health & Environmental Control employee, where she worked faithfully for thirty-three (33) years. She is currently employed at DHEC in a part-time position. During her tenure, she had the opportunity to work in different capacities.
She serves as the Assistant Church Secretary of Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist Church located in Society Hill, SC. where her pastor is the Reverend Dr. Matthew Robinson. Elizabeth’s dedication to Christ Jesus and her church can be seen in the areas of ministry she has committed to over the years. Her ministry experience includes: membership in the Ushers’ Ministry, past Vice-President of the Ushers’ Ministry, and Vice President of the Mass Choir.
She presently serves as the Financial Secretary for the Ushers’ Department of the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association.
Elizabeth has forty-one (41) plus years of marriage to Lawrence Gregg. God has blessed their union with four children (Lawrence II “Jaybird”, Michelle, Winter and Ryan) and seven beautiful grandchildren. Elizabeth’s parents are the late
