Woman's Pee Dee District Department
Reverend Senora Mumford is a lifelong resident of Florence, SC. She is a 1968 graduate of Wilson High School, a 1972 graduate of Florence Darlington Technical from the Medical Assistant Program and a 2009 graduate from Morris College Pastoral and Christian Education Program.
She is married to Reverend Dr. Waymon Mumford and they are the proud parents of three children: two sons, Raymon and Stevie and one daughter, Tena. They are the proud grandparents of nineteen grandchildren, one who was raised in the home, Dominic.
Reverend Mumford is a member of Central Baptist Church, Florence, SC, where her husband is the pastor. She serves as Associate Minister and Certified Sunday School Teacher. She was certified as a Sunday School Teacher by the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association Christian Education Department. On October 20, 2022, she was ordained by the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association.
In the Woman’s Pee Dee District Department, she presently serves as Treasurer of the Woman’s Pee Dee District Department, past Historian and Executive Board Member. She is a member of the Spiritual Life Ministry of the Woman’s Pee Dee District Department. She has served as Past President of the Pee Dee District Deaconesses; Past President of the Pee Dee Ministers’ Wives and currently serving as President of the Pee Dee Ministers’ Wives.
As a member of the Woman’s Baptist E&M Convention of SC, she serves on the Executive Board as District Six Representative. She has served as Past Assistant Recording Secretary, Past Statistician and member of the Spiritual Life Ministry.
Her community involvement includes: a member of the Florence Chapter 65 Order of Eastern Star, Good News Club Coordinator at North Vista Elementary School, and Christian Learning Center Assistant at Williams Middle School.
