Ms. Taronda Barnes is a native of Florence County. She was born and raised in Lake City, SC until her move to Florence in 2010. Ms. Barnes holds several degrees which encompass Business Administration, Information Technology, and Nonprofit Management.
She is an aspiring entrepreneur in the Small Business World, where she holds the title as an Accredited Small Business Consultant. She is owner of several up and coming LLC’s to include: J & K Enterprises SC LLC, TP Barnes, LLC, J & K Grant Administration, LLC, J & L Home Health, and started a Nonprofit, Stay Woke Ministries. Ms. Barnes is using her God-Given talents in preparation to help those in the areas of small business consulting, grant writing, logistics, home health care and has dedicated the Nonprofit to educate, empower and inspire disadvantaged and disenfranchised individuals to improve their spiritual and socioeconomic wellbeing. She is currently employed with the Housing Authority of Florence as a Community Manager and leader of the grant writing team.
She is the mother of three beautiful young ladies: Jenesis Jordan, Kamani Jordan, and Kamryn Jordan. Her family attends Mount Clair Baptist Church in Lake City, SC, where the Pastor is Reverend Reginald A. Elmore.
Ms. Barnes’ favorite Bible Verse comes from Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
