Reverend Dr. Curtis M. Cantey is the Pastor of Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church. He is the only son of Hattie C. Johnson. Born and reared in Clarendon County, he graduated from Manning High School in 1977. Upon graduating from high school, he joined the U. S. Army and served six years.
Reverend Cantey met and married the love of his life the former Jackie Felder of Manning, SC and they have been married for twenty-eight years. He has been a Construction Industrial Pipe Fitter for the past thirty-three years. In his Christian journey, he has been a Trustee, Deacon, Assistant Superintendent of the Sunday School Department, President of the Macedonia Male Chorus, President of the Gospel Train Male Chorus, and Chaplin of the American Legion Post 204. On December 27, 1988, he delivered his initial sermon and received his license the same year and in 1999 he was ordained. He has attended the Christian Life School of Theology in Florence, SC for the past thirteen years. He has earned the following degrees:

He was the Pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Hartsville, SC from 2001-2009.
Reverend Cantey displays his dedication and love of a Christian through the preaching and teaching of God's word. His motto is, "Know why you're doing, what you're doing, and who you're doing if for".
