Region Leaders
Reverend Randy Barr Sr., is a native of Johnsonville, SC and currently resides in Camden, SC. He is the son of Mary Barr and the Late Deacon Robert Barr, Jr. He is married to the lovely and beautiful Denise Barr and they are the proud parents of six (6) children and twelve (12) grandchildren.
He is licensed and ordained to preach the gospel. A man of vision, integrity, experience, and wisdom, he has been preaching the Gospel for thirty-three (33) years and pastoring for twenty-seven (27 years). A Service Minded Servant who believes in Serving Christ, the Church and the Community. He also served his country honorably for twenty-four (24) years in the United States Navy and is a retired Naval Chief Warrant Officer. He is currently employed by the State of South Carolina as the Procurement Director of State Term Contracts for Information Technology (IT).
He earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Theology from Covenant Bible College & Seminary (CBCS), Tallahassee, FL. He also earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri, Columbia, MO. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Leadership Tallahassee Program and the Michigan State University Executive Development Leadership Program. Additionally, as an Instructor, he taught Biblical courses at CBCS.
He is passionate about outreach and has served on many Help Agencies Boards and served a three (3) year term as the President of Emergency Care Helping Others (ECHO) Board. He is the Founder & CEO of RB Ministries, Inc., which is an Outreach Ministry to help people both physically and spiritually.
Pastor Barr is humbled and honored to serve as the proud Pastor of Olive Grove Baptist Church located in Coward, SC, which he believes is the greatest church on this side of Glory.
He often loves to say and live by, that whenever there is ministry work to be done for the people, church and community that, “This is our reasonable service”.
