Minister Melissa Fulmore is a native and resident of Florence, South Carolina and a member and First Lady of the Historical Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in the Dovesville Community of Darlington, SC, where her husband of 30+ years, Reverend Samuel Fulmore, Jr. is the pastor. In this anointed union they have been blessed with four gifted children, five precious granddaughters and three handsome grandsons. She accepted the call to ministry and began delivering God’s word on June 29, 1997.
She has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management , a Master’s in Technology in Education, a second Masters in Educational Leadership and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. She is in her 28th year as an educator. Melissa is a High School Computer Science Instructor with the Darlington County School District and an online Computer Science Instructor with South Carolina Virtual Schools.
With all of that being said, Minister Fulmore feels that her greatest accomplishment is when she dedicated her life to God. Throughout her ministry, she has taught other women young and old that getting to know God, studying his word, learning to lean on Him, and having a sincere relationship with God really works out for their good!!
Her favorite scripture comes from Proverbs 3: 4-6. “So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. TRUST in the Lord with ALL thine heart; and lean NOT unto thine own understanding. In ALL thy ways acknowledge him, and he SHALL direct thy paths!”
