Pee Dee District YWA
Donna King was born and reared in Florence, SC, the daughter of Janice King and the late Jimmy King. She has one son, Malik and three siblings.
She is a graduate of Wilson High School and Morris College. She obtained her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Troy State University. She is a Certified Professional in Human Resources and is currently employed at McLeod Health as a Director of Human Resources. She is also a 2008 graduate of the Greater Chamber of Commerce Leadership Florence Class.
Donna is a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Florence, SC. She works diligently in many capacities in the church serving as YWA Advisor, Youth Advisor, Sunday School Teacher, Vice President of the Senior Missionary and as a member of the following committees/ministries - Inspiritional Choir, Education/Scholarship Committee, Planning Committee and Sunday School Department.
Donna currently serves as the Pee Dee District YWA Advisor.
Early in life, she discovered the importance of Christ and the need to help others. One of her favotie scriptures is Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me." By allowing God to direct and lead her life, she is assured that all things are possible and is on the right path to being who He will have her to be.
